As weird as it feels to create a post completely about myself, I know it is important to a lot of clients to get to know the owner of a business they are working with. There is more to me than just being the owner of Sweep, and I have quite a few hobbies that I enjoy! Maybe we have a few things in common.

I love to spend time with my wife, Caroline, and our Siberian husky, Thor.  We go on a lot of hikes throughout western Michigan together. Hoffmaster State Park in Muskegon is probably my favorite hike because I can easily modify the length, I love the scenery, and I have the ability to go to the beach on Lake Michigan from the trail.

Spending time with my parents and in-laws is also a big part of my life. They are both very supportive of me and I try to visit whenever I get the chance. Hanging out with my close friends is prominent in my life as well. We all like to have game nights, and also love going out to the local bars/restaurants in Grand Rapids.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big Miami Dolphins football fan. Ever since I was a kid I always rooted for the Dolphins. It hasn’t generated much celebration for me throughout my life, but I still watch regardless. I’m a football fan in general, and will watch pretty much any game.

A unique hobby of mine is fish keeping. Everywhere I have ever lived, I have owned an aquarium. Something about aquascaping a custom layout and creating a little world excites me. I only have done fresh water to this point, and have probably owned every common freshwater fish available. Having fish is calming to me, and I think it is a pretty cool decoration to boot!

Music is another interest of mine. I have the tolerance to listen to just about every genre of music. My favorite artists at this point in time are Quinn XCII and Christian French (pretty low key pop artists). I listen to rock and rap when working out, and country when I’m with my wife as well.

Self improvement is important to me because I always feel that I can be a better person, husband, and business owner. I listen to a lot of business and motivational podcasts when driving. I also work out at least 5 days a week to try and stay in good enough shape to be able to handle any activity that comes my way. My wife and I try to go on date nights at least twice a week. Currently I am working on keeping everything organized and scheduled so that I can fit more into the day.

Travel is another important part of my life that I have just recently started to do. Growing up, I never really traveled much, but my wife always has. I have really enjoyed the small amount of travel we have done together so far, and want to really expand that in the next 5 years. My favorite place so far was our honeymoon destination in Maui, Hawaii. We both enjoy relaxation and adventure, so having a good mix is important to us.

Well there you have it! If you made it through a blog about Chris Randall, you can now say you know the owner of Sweep pretty well. It is really important to me that I am transparent with my clients on everything inside and outside of the business. Comfortably means a lot when you a trusting a company to come into your home.
